Data Protection Policy
Pagerider Kft. (registered address: H-1035 Budapest, Vihar utca 18., Hungary; company registration number: 01-09-195734; registering authority: Pest County Court as Court of Registration; tax number: 25031263-2-41, data handling registration number: NAIH-79096/2014) (hereinafter: Service Provider) operates a website (Pagerider.com, hereinafter: Website) for ordering applications for Facebook. In the course of providing the service, the Service Provider handles personal and other data of visitors of the Website and persons registering at the Website (hereinafter: Users). The Service Provider hereby notifies its Users of: the scope of personal data handled on the Website, the principles it adheres to, the practice it follows while handling personal data, the purpose and duration of data handling, and the means and opportunities for data subjects to enforce their rights.
Pagerider.com handles the recorded personal data confidentially and in accordance with data protection law, international recommendations and this policy.
Persons registering at the Website agree that e-mails may be sent by the Service Provider from Pagerider.com to their e-mail addresses registered with Facebook in connection with the operation of the service. These messages do not qualify as spam or newsletters.
The purpose of data handling in connection with registration is to identify the visitors of the Website as necessary for allowing them to use the services available at the Website, to document whether the contract has been duly performed, to allow invoicing, to provide evidence for the existence of any contract concluded and to enforce claims under contract.
The data are handled on the basis of a voluntary approval given by users registering at the Pagerider.com website.
Users will give their approval by using the services of the Website or by registering at the portal.
As a result, personal data are handled on the basis of Section 5(1)(a) of Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-determination and Freedom of Information, i.e. on the basis of a voluntary authorisation granted by users registering at the Website.
Technical data: When the Website is used, the Service Provider, for technical reasons, automatically records the User’s IP address, operation system type, browser application type and other information. The system will continuously log these data but will not associate them with data disclosed during registration or use. The Users will not have access to such data; access will only be provided to the Service Provider.
The Service Provider will have the right to record the data of the websites from whose links the User visits the Website, of the pages visited by the User within the Website and also the time and length of the visit. Such data may not be connected with the User’s person or profile.
The Website will identify the computer of its visitors through ‘cookies’.
The Service Provider will only use the data specified above for the purpose of the technical operation of the site and for statistical purposes.
Registration: As a result of registration, the User will connect an existing personal Facebook profile to the Pagerider.com service and allow access to the following data:
In addition to the above, the User will also allow Pagerider.com to manage the pages managed by the User; this is a precondition of installing applications on Facebook sites.
Ordering: When ordering services subject to a fee, the User will also disclose the following data:
The Service Provider will not store the User’s password; the service is available through the regular Facebook identification procedure.
Within the framework of the service, the User will have the opportunity to upload text, image, audio and video content to the Service Provider’s storage location. Personal data related to such content items will be handled on the basis of a voluntary approval granted by the User by implied conduct. If the User discloses personal data of third parties in connection with such content, the User thereby declares that such third parties have read and understood the content of this data protection policy and have allowed the Service Provider to use their personal data. The User will be responsible to the Service Provider for the consequences of the User’s failure to meet this obligation.
Pursuant to Minister of Economy Transport Decree 114/2007 (29 Dec) GKM, the Service Provider will retain the invoicing data disclosed when the order is made until the expiry of the archiving period specified in the effective accounting laws and regulations. The data retention period for textual, image and audio data uploaded by the User will be the data retention period specified in the contract made between the User and the Service Provider on the basis of the General Terms and Conditions. The personal data that are to be mandatorily disclosed during registration will be handled starting from the registration until they are deleted. In the case of data whose disclosure is not obligatory, the data will be handled from the date of disclosure until their deletion. The User or the Service Provider may cancel the registration in cases listed and by following the procedure described in the General Terms and Conditions.
The data may primarily be accessed by the Service Provider and its internal staff but they do not have the right to publish them or hand them over to a third party.
The Service Provider is authorised to use the services of a data processor (for instance, a system administrator, a freight company, an accountant etc.) for the purpose of operating the IT system the service is based on, for carrying out orders and for settlement purposes.
Except for the cases listed above, the Service Provider may only forward the User’s personal data in cases specified by statute or if the User approves.
The Service Provider will take all the necessary steps to make sure the Users’ personal data are secure and protected during network communication and data storage.
In order to prevent unauthorised access to, unauthorised modification of and unauthorised use of personal data, access to personal data is strictly limited.
Users will have the right to obtain information from the Service Provider concerning their personal data managed by the Service Provider. Also, the User will have the option to modify them through the Website (company names may be modified via e-mail to the Service Provider). Users will have the right to delete their data by contacting the Service Provider through one of the channels specified below.
At the request of the User, the Service Provider will provide information on the data managed by the Service Provider related to the User and also on the purpose, legal basis and duration of data handling and on who receive or have received such data and for what purpose. The Service Provider will provide the requested information in writing within 30 days from the day the request is submitted.

Users may contact the Service Provider’s staff through the mailing and e-mail addresses if they have a question or a comment.
The User may request the correction or deletion of a data item if it has been recorded with incorrect content. The User will have the opportunity to correct certain data items in person through the Website. In all other cases, the Service Provider will delete the data within 3 business days from the day the request is received but in the latter case it will not be possible to restore the deleted data. Data that must be retained under law (e.g. accounting rules) will not be deleted permanently; the Service Provider will retain them until required.
The User may turn to court to enforce its rights under the Data Protection Act and the Civil Code but may also contact the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, address: H-1024 Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22/C., Hungary, more information: http://www.naih.hu).
If while registering to use the service the User discloses false, incomplete or obsolete data or someone else’s data, or causes any damage while using the Website, the Service Provider may claim damages from the User directly for any damage caused by the User or any damaged claimed from or enforced against the Service Provider as a result of the User’s conduct. The Service Provider will provide all reasonable assistance to the competent authorities for the purpose of identifying the person violating the law.
The Service Provider may send messages related to circumstances of the service to the User to the e-mail address shown in the User’s Facebook profile.
The Service Provider will only send newsletters to this e-mail address if the User agrees in writing.
The Service Provider reserves the right to modify this Data Protection Policy unilaterally by notifying the Users before the change takes effect. If the User continues using the service after the effective date of the modification, the User will be deemed to have accepted the changes in the Data Protection Policy by implied conduct.
